Passed today in United States (NY) with 439. Exam A is still valid. A lot of questions changed the answer's order as well as the word's order, but if you understand the concept you'll be fine. Do not memorize the order of the answer.
New questions:
1.linked mode between 2 data center
2.firewall ports for HA Agents between 2 sites (http://pubs.VMware.com/vsphere-50/topic/com.VMware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-50-availability-guide.pdf) at page 16 - I got it right with 8182 (tricky answer was 443 which still needs to be opened)
3.when do you have the linked-mode non available when installing vcenter same as @Swam2014)
one question about installing VMware DR is tricky. you can download the OVF, ( there is no CD media installation. a download is available) but the answer doesn't mention that you need to import it. between C and D (this might cost me a couple of points)

Why can't we use a 32-way cpu configuration for a VM?

There is no license that does not include virtual SMP! And as the pic from vsphere_pricing.pdf shows clearly, an Enterprise Plus license is needed for 32-way cpu configurations. So the correct answers are:

1) .is using an Enterprise license (which is not enough)
2) .was built using VM hardware v7

Question 106:

The eachine is on an active-active array and performance shall be improved.
In my opinion there are three correct answers:

1) Multipathing policy to fixed
2) Multipathing policy to Round Robin
3) Migrate some VMs to other storage

Fixed may be the default setting for active-active storage, but Round Robin is supported as well. So after they're talking explicitly about the multipathing policy I think fixed and Round Robin are the answers but not Migrating VMs to new storage.

I found an answer in the Dump that I think is wrong:

" A virtual machines appear in the vSphere Client inventory list with (orphaned) appended to their name. What is the quickest solutions to correct this?

A. Reboot the Host that VM is hosted on
B. Reboot the VM
C. Reboot the VM from inventory, Browse to the VM .vmx file and add the VM to the inventory
D. Right click the VM, select Relocate and select a different host with the cluster "

The right answer, according to the dump, is "C" (Reboot the VM from inventory, Browse to the VM .vmx file and add the VM to the inventory)" with this explanation: "Answer: C (REVIEWED by sscllc) This should be C. (original D.) You cannot relocate a VM if it is orphaned.".

But based on VMware docs, I think the right answer should indeed be "D. Right click the VM, select Relocate and select a different host with the cluster"

-strict admission control is configured

But, still from Duncan Epping's book :
"although we have already touched on this, it doesnt hurt repeating as it is one of these myths that keeps coming back : HA initiated failovers are not prone to the Admission Control policy"
I think the correct annswer should be
-the target ESXi host is not compatibel with the vm
Indeed, HA uses the compatlist file published by the master host to choose if a vm can be powered on a specific host.

Hi and thanks for all this work.

To the question "What is true about Agent (HA?) VMs", correct answer from this dump is "they are tied to a specific ESXi host". Although I think the correct answer should be "They are restarted on surviving node in the event of an HA failover".
This a quote from "vSphere 5 clustering technical deepdive", from Duncan Epping, page 48 :
"We have listed the full order in which VM will be restarted :
-agent vms
-FT secondary vms
-vm configureg with a restart priority of High
-vm configureg with a medium restart priority
-vm configureg with a low restart priority

you are right but in the question there is no reference if the storage system or its firmware support RR (for example EMC CLARiiON need flare 28 and above to support RR)

so for my opinion if there is no such a reference you cannot choose RR as an option :).
